What is Breakfast? As the word says in itself, it is breaking the fasting period of the previous night Breakfast is known to be one of the most important meals of the day Breakfast helps kick start your day by helping to stimulate your metabolisms giving you the boost of energy for the whole day Often for various reasons such as running late for work or school Not liking the breakfast option or just not feeling hungry, people tend to do is avoid or skip breakfast To avoid skipping your breakfast in this video I will be showing you 7 awesome breakfast recipes All of which will be tasty, healthy and very easy to cook, and time-consuming as well Each breakfast item will be explained in details from the cooking methods to the benefits of each recipe The first dish will be Ragi Idli or known in English as Yeast
Idly Ragi (Yeast) is known to be one of the best Non-Diarty Calcium Sources Having high fiber contents which will be of great help for your weight loss process So let's get into how to make Ragi Idly Add a cup of Ragi (Yeast) to your bowl Add a little bit of Rava (Semolina) to the mix as well Add a pinch of salt Add about a teaspoon of Curd as well Following with a little bit of water Before mixing it all upset it aside and go on to the next step Add a little bit of oil to the pan Fry your Cashew Nuts until you get the golden color Add some Mustard seeds into the pan as well Along with some White Lentils Following with one spoon of Split Grams Following with one teaspoon of Curry Leaves Add 2 teaspoons of Grated Carrots Fry it all together Add the fried ingredients to the mixture which you had set aside at the beginning Mix it all very well until you get a soft consistency from the mixture Take your Idli Maker Plates, coat it with some oil, add a piece of cashew nuts then add the mixture on top Add your Idli Maker Plates into the Cooker then wait for 10 minutes Once 10 minutes is up, your delicious Rava Idli's are ready to eat A combination of Rava Idli with some Chutney on the side will make the PERFECT BREAKFAST dish for you Definitely give this a try The second dish is Rava Upma (Semolina Upma) For sure Rava Upma is a staple dish in many households Rava Upma can really help with weight loss as well Containing healthy fats, being rich in fiber contents along with a lot of vitamins and minerals as well Let's get into how to prepare your Rava Upma Pre-heat your frying pan then add 1 teaspoon of Oil Add 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds to the oil Following with 1 teaspoon of Split Grams Then 1 teaspoon of Urad Dal Then 1 teaspoon of Jeera (Cumin Seeds) A little bit of Green Chilli Then some Curry Leaves After giving frying for a couple minutes then add 1/4 Cup of Moong Dal Following with 1/4 cup of Onion Then lastly a few vegetables of your choice Add a little bit of water along with a pinch of salt Once done add the Whole Wheat Rava mixture to the boiling pan Rava Upma is ready to serve Have your Upma along with any Chutney of your choice for a delicious meal Number 3 will be Oats Smoothie Oats is very well known to be one of the most go-to options when it comes to breakfast Oats is very rich in antioxidants and also helps to maintain good blood sugar levels as well How to makes this Oats Smoothie? Let's get into it Soak 10-12 Almonds overnight, and remove the skin Prepare your homemade almond milk by adding water into the grinder with the almonds Add a hand full of oats to the mixture Along with 1 whole chopped with Apple Following with 2 Dates to increase that natural taste of sweetness Finally 1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder Once your Oats Smoothie is ready for the final touch add a bit of Flax Seeds on top Time to enjoy your healthy and tasty Oat Smoothie breakfast menu Definitely give this a shot The 4th dish with be Kapali Wheat Dosa You might be wondering, "WHAT IS KALAPI?" Kapali is an ancient variety of Wheat Flour, which has been used for over 10,000 years now What is this Kapali Wheat the MOST SUITABLE for this menu?
