(girl blowing) - What the heck? (blowing) (girl giggling) (chipper upbeat music) - [Interviewer] Hello.
- Hi. - [Interviewer] What do
you know about the 1960s? - The Beatles?
- [Interviewer] Yeah. - Okay, that's all I know. - [Interviewer] All right, that's good. So we are trying food
from the 1960s today. Would you say that you're a young lady? - Probably not. - Young, young, young lady.
(interviewer chuckling) - When I'm 10, I'll definitely say that. - [Interviewer] Okay well, this cookbook has some thoughts on
how to be a young lady. Do you wanna read a little
bit about being a young lady? - I cannot read. - When playing this cookbook, we have tried to meet the needs of all types of teenage girls. The girl who was engaged
in one so rightly. Engaged? - [Interviewer] You don't know any teen girls who are engaged? - Oh, I hope not. (giggling) - Ooh, ice cream. - Oh, my. (giggling) What? - [Interviewer] What meal
do you think that's for? - Dessert. - [Interviewer] It's a breakfast recipe. (girl exclaiming) - Why don't my parents
feed this to me every-- - [Interviewer] I think they should. - I think they should too. - What is this? (smacking lips) Lemon-y. It's kind of like a soda. - [Interviewer] It is
actually egg lemonade. - What? Wait, like, there's eggs in this? - [Interviewer] Yeah. - Like, wow.
- [Interviewer] Yeah. - That's kind of weird, but it's good. - Why eat breakfast at all? The answer is, breakfast
gives you glow power to smile at all the boys
on their way to school.
Okay, that's not the reason, but sure. - Why do you have to eat
breakfast to smile at a boy? Why can't you just eat
breakfast because it's healthy? - Bonus if you're dieting,
what kind of a book is this? (both laughing) - [Interviewer] Do you think that's advice you need as a young lady? - I am nine years old. My dad and I made a deal that I wouldn't start dating until I'm 27. And I took that back. (laughing) And now he won't let me take it back.

I hope he knows that's not true. - What the heck? (gagging) Mm-mm. (interviewer laughing) - Oh no. I hate this. - Okay, I'm guessing this
is, no, it's kind of warm. I think it's milk. Yeah it's milk. Why milk in this? - [Interviewer] This cookbook is insistent that you bring a canteen
of milk to school. It's in all the lunch recipes. That is a Tiny Tom, which is a tomato stuffed with diced
cheese, canned liver pate. - Canned liver? (chuckling) It's funny
how you'll eat anything if you don't know what it is. (interviewer laughing) - I'm gonna be real,
that does not look good. Okay, it's actually kind of good. - I think the texture
is a little bit weird. To me it's a little bit like dog food. - I think this is seaweed.
- [Interviewer] It's actually spinach. - Uh-uh. - [Interviewer] That is surprise spinach. The surprise is that it's
cooked in boiled Sprite. - Sprite? - [Interviewer] Do you think you'll ask your mom and dad to make you some Sprite-boiled spinach for dinner? - No thanks, dad. (interviewer laughing) - Go away from here. Away. (blowing) What the heck? (laughing) - It's an explosion of raisins. Ooh, nice. The apple is really good. I wish when I wanted an apple,
my dad gave me it like this. He usually just hands me
an apple from the bowl. (interviewer laughing) (both laughing) This weird 60s food is really good.
- [Interviewer] One more bite? - Yes. Okay, done. - [Interviewer] What do you think? Do you wanna go back in time to the 1960s? - Considering that people thought that you had to eat breakfast to impress boys? I would not like to go back to the 1960s. - I might want to be
part of the 1960 century in the morning part, where I
could eat a good breakfast. But not the rest of the day. - Bye, thanks for watching..
