- If you're looking for something
keto-friendly to snack on at your next game day party, then you have gotta check out
these cheesy sausage balls. Thanks to a simple ingredient swap, you'll still get that
classic Bisquick texture but without the added carbs. And you might as well go ahead and double or triple the batch, because I promise you guys, these are going to disappear fast. One of the best things about this recipe is how quick it is to throw together. So first, simply grab a large bowl and add one pound of ground sausage. I'm using a mild breakfast sausage, but you can always spice things up by using a hot Italian sausage instead. One cup of a fine almond flour. This is the ingredient that we'll be using instead of the classic Bisquick that other sausage ball recipes call for.
Do make sure you look for the fine grit, as it will give the
meatballs the best texture. One cup of finely shredded
Monterey jack or cheddar cheese. Once again, look for the finely shredded so it mixes in better. Three tablespoons have
finely chopped green onions. Four ounces of softened cream cheese. Do make sure that this has
come to room temperature before you add it in. Two teaspoons of ranch seasoning mix. You can either use the
store-bought packages or make your own at home. I've got a great DIY
recipe if you need one. 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. This is optional and can be left out if you don't want any spice. Mix this all together using
either a stiff spatula, or you can just do it by hand and mix until everything is well-combined. Next, scoop out 1 1/2
tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a bowl. If you have trouble with
the mixture sticking, you can always spritz your hands with a bit of nonstick cooking spray. This usually does the trick. Once rolled, place the ball on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and repeat with the remaining mixture.

You should end up with
roughly 24 sausage balls. Bake them in a preheated 400
degree oven for 15 minutes, flipping them over
halfway through cooking. (bright music) If you want an extra crispy exterior, broil them for an additional
two to three minutes just before serving. Okay, now for the real test, let's see if I can stop
at just one of these. Oh my gosh, nope, not gonna be able to stop at just one. Guys, I'm not even sure if these are gonna make it to the party. But I cannot wait to hear what you think, so be sure to let me know. Also, if you want a few
more low-carb dishes to try, you have gotta check out
these recipes right over here. Thanks so much for hanging out. I will see you in the next one..
