Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present
my chicken teriyaki recipe. This is one of the easiest to make, best tasting
low-carb chicken recipes you'll ever try. It has all the sticky, sweet goodness of
its high carb counterpart, but with only a little over two net carbs per serving.
Let's get started. We'll begin by mixing some low-sodium soy sauce to a
mixing bowl. You want to be sure to use soy sauce that is low-sodium. The sauce
will reduce a bit and regular soy sauce will make this a little too salty.
Add some water; a sugar substitute equal to 3/4 cup regular sugar; some freshly
grated ginger; a little minced garlic; just a bit of red pepper flakes; and
finally some xanthan gum.

Mix well with a whisk and set aside. We'll be using two
large boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. Butterfly cut each in half, creating two
pieces. Season each piece with some ground black pepper.
Be sure to season both sides. We don't want to add any salt here. There's
going to be plenty enough salt in our sauce. To a skillet on medium-high heat,
add about two tablespoons of avocado oil.

Place the chicken in the skillet and let
cook for about three minutes. If your pieces are a little thick like these, you
may want to cook them for about four minutes. Flip and cook the other side for
three to four minutes as well. Reduce the heat to medium and add our teriyaki
sauce to the chicken. Cook an additional three to four minutes, turning the
chicken several times to coat. Remove the chicken and continue to cook
the sauce until it reduces in thickens. Plate the chicken as a whole piece or
pre-sliced. Add the teriyaki sauce over the top. Garnish with some toasted sesame
seeds. Add some sliced green onions and enjoy one of the best low-carb chicken
dishes you'll ever try! There you have it folks! My chicken teriyaki recipe.
Low-carb eating doesn't get much better than this. I hope you enjoyed this video.
