Please subscribe my channel and follow me on Instagram. Written recipe can be found in the description below. Melt 40 g butter in a big wok/pot and 1 medium sized chopped onion. Fry until translucent and add 1 minced garlic clove. Fry for 30 seconds. Add 450 g of veal, beef or chicken chunks cut in small chunks and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp salt. Add 1/4 tsp red chili powder and 1 inch piece cinnamon stick. Moreover add 1/2 tsp cumin powder and 1/3 tsp turmeric mix well and fry meat for 6-7 minutes. Pour in 1.5 to 2 liter water. Add 3/4 cube of beef broth (optional) and bring soup to boil. Turn down heat to medium flame and cook for 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Add 200 of tomato sauce/purée and cook for 5 minutes. Take out cinnamon stick. Add 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro and if desired 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Note: if you prefer a thick soup - dissolve 1 tsp tapioca or arrowroot starch in 4 tbsp water and slowly add into the soup.
