Crispy sugar cookies that melt in the mouth and are a good accompaniment with a cappuccino.
Ingredients for 24 Servings.

- 1 3/4 cups of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Royal baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
Preparation ;
- We need a cookie tray that has no edge for cookies to cook quickly and retain their shape.
- Heat the oven to 350ºF and put the oven rack in the middle. The butter has to be at room temperature.
- In a medium bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Using a blender mix the butter and sugar.
- It should be a light and fluffy paste, incorporate the egg and vanilla, beating for 2 more minutes.
- With the mixer at the lowest speed, incorporate the dry ingredients, beat for 30 seconds until it is well mixed.
- Put the sugar to sprinkle on a plate. With a spoon go making pasta balls and putting them on the plate. Cover well with sugar.
- Put the sugary balls in the tray without greasing leaving 10 cm of space between them.
- Bake until the cookies are golden and soft in the center. For 15 or 18 minutes. Let cool one minute on the tray and transfer to a rack to cool.
TIPS
It is very important to use a baking sheet that has no edge, because the cookies will be better.
